Beaver Scouts - Not currently meeting

Beaver Scouts belong to the second section in the Scouting family. The core age range of the Beaver Scout Colony is from 6 years to 8 years.

Activities

Easily recognised by their distinctive sweatshirts, Beaver Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others. They usually meet together for an hour week in a Beaver Scout Colony.

Beaver Scout Colonies also organise sleepovers and the opportunity for a night away camping. These are often the first time a young person spends a night away from home.

Badges

Mastering something, or trying something new. If it spurs your beaver on or stirs their interest, there's probably a badge for it. There are 38 badges available.

Challenge Awards are all about stepping outside our comfort zone. Trying something they wouldn’t normally be interested in. Taking the lead on something that scares them. Along the way, then'll unlock hidden talents and stand tall.

Uniform

Beaver Scouts wear a blue sweatshirt with their badges sewn on, and a group necker.
